President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has announced the preparation of a meeting of the leaders of the Coalition of Decide Coalitions, which will take place in Ukraine. According to Zelensky, the meeting will be partially held in a virtual format, and partly - in the usual, offline.
This announcement occurred during a speech by the head of the Ukrainian state at the Summit of the Joint Expeditionary Force (United expedition forces), which includes Britain, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Lithuania, Netherlands and Ukraine. Zelensky noted that Ukraine needs such a coalition to ensure security and strengthen the security architecture in Europe.
"We are getting ready for serious work," the President of Ukraine said, emphasizing the importance of this coalition for stability on the continent. He also expressed confidence that Europe only wins from such an initiative.
French President Emmanuel Macron confirmed that the meeting of the "decisive" coalition will take place on May 10. The meeting will be partially in virtual, and partly in the usual format. Macron also reported that he would go to Ukraine, but the exact time of his visit for security reasons is not revealed in advance.
"We initiated this meeting at the beginning of the year, and we will participate in the meeting," Macron said, confirming our willingness to support Ukraine at this difficult time.
Meeting the leaders of the "decisive" coalition is an important step in strengthening the international support of Ukraine against the background of a long war and the need to strengthen security in Europe.
