President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has confirmed that the future Special Representative of US President Donald Trump on Ukraine, Kit Kellogo, will visit Kiev early next year. According to Zelensky, the visit will take place in January 2025, even before the inauguration of Trump, which is scheduled for January 20.
Zelensky noted that Ukraine is expecting Mr. Kellog's visit and added that during his arrival issues would be discussed concerning the US future initiatives for Ukraine. However, the President also indicated that he had not yet been able to get acquainted with Kellog's interview to know his views and intentions more accurately.
This visit is an important signal of strengthening relations between Ukraine and the US after Trump's victory in the 2024 presidential election.
