Zelensky promised to hold fair elections after the end of the war

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy promised that there will be a fair election in Ukraine, but only after the war with Russia. He emphasized that the elections need to be provided with a fair peace and reminded that the Constitution of Ukraine does not allow the election during wartime.

During his speech in the Verkhovna Rada on November 19, Zelensky stressed that now it is not time in Ukraine for political disputes and struggle within the country, especially in war conditions. "But we have people who may have been" hungry "to the elections so much that they want to fight more for personal interests than for the sake of our country. It is detrimental to Ukraine," the President said. He added that fair elections are possible only after peace and stability.

Zelensky emphasized the importance of unity to achieve victory, noting that this aspect is the basis of Ukraine's internal plan. "In order not to lose the war, it is necessary to work in unity, both domestically and with our allies," the President explained.

The first point of the plan of stability Zelensky determined the unity of Ukrainians, which is critical for achieving victory in the war. "In every war, there are things that the people can do, and there is something that can only be united with the Allies," the President said.

He also emphasized that the inner unity of Ukrainians helped to unite the world around Ukraine: “The world can be deaf to individual voices, but not to the whole people who knows what he wants, works united and reaches their goals," - summed up Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
