Ukraine has never received additional Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems discussed at NATO Summit in Washington in July 2024. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
This was stated in an interview with 60 minutes at CBS News President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky: "Although Ukraine is grateful to partners, including the United States, for the assistance provided, today the country is critical of additional protection against Russian missiles, especially ballistic."
The President stressed that the agreement on the supply of additional batteries was still at the NATO summit in Washington, but there is still no result.
Zelensky stated that Kiev is ready to even buy these systems if the Allies are unable to transfer them free of charge. Moreover, some European countries have expressed their readiness to help with funding.
At the same time, the Head of State drew attention to double standards in the attitude of the Allies. For example, the United States refused Ukraine, but transferred Patriot to Israel.
