Ukraine and the United States are in the final stage of negotiations on the conclusion of an economic agreement in the field of mineral production. This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his evening address on April 28.
According to Zelensky, the updated document has become much stronger and equal, which creates the basis for a mutually beneficial partnership between the two states.
"The document has become much stronger, equal and can be profitable for both of our peoples. Both Ukraine and America," the President stressed.
Volodymyr Zelensky also informed that the Ukrainian team of negotiations informed him in detail about the agreements reached. In addition, the President announced the preparation for new meetings and negotiations with international partners, the participation of Ukraine in important international summits and further work on strengthening air defense.
"Priority, obvious, is aircraft. Safety for our people. Support for Ukraine. Support for diplomacy," he said.
The President stressed that these steps are aimed at depriving Russia of the opportunity to delay the war and strengthen Ukraine's position in the international arena.
