President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Olga Kurishko a permanent representative of the President in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. The decree on its appointment was published on the official website of the President on January 24, 2025.
Prior to that, Olga Kurishko performed the duties of the President's temporary representative in the Crimea and worked as a deputy permanent representative.
Kurishko joined the President's representation team to Crimea in December 2021. She headed the legal support department, and since June 2023 she held the post of deputy permanent representative.
During this time, Olga Kurishko made a significant contribution to the development of strategic documents on the reintegration of Crimea and the protection of the rights of the occupied peninsula. She participated in the creation of normative legal acts concerning access to education, pension, receipt of passport documents, as well as in support of political prisoners and their families.
