Zelensky criticized Scholz's call to Putin

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky criticized German Chancellor Olaf Scholz's call to Russian President Vladimir Putin, calling it a "mistake" that opens "Pandora's box". In his comment, Zelensky noted that Putin seeks to resume dialogue with the West in order to weaken Russia's international isolation, which, according to the Ukrainian leader, will not yield any results and will only prolong the war.

Zelensky noted that calls like this, which Putin initiated for decades, allowed Russia to avoid changing its policy, which ultimately led to the escalation of the conflict. He warned that "Minsk-3" will not happen, because Ukraine needs not just dialogue, but real peace, which involves changes in Russia's behavior.

"There will be no Minsk-3 - we need real peace," concluded Zelenskyy, noting that Ukraine has a clear understanding of how to act in this situation.
