Zelensky told about negotiations in Ireland

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with Ireland Prime Minister Michol Martin to discuss ways of completion of war, security cooperation and integration of Ukraine into the EU. The negotiations took place at Shannon Airport, after which the Ukrainian leader shared the details of the meeting in his Telegram.

🔹 Support of Ukraine and security guarantees
Zelensky stressed that the parties talked about ways to achieve "guaranteed peace" for Ukraine and Europe, as well as to strengthen transatlantic unity.

🔹 Military assistance and preparation of the Ukrainian military
discussed Ireland in the EU training mission, which is engaged in the preparation of Ukrainian servicemen. In addition, Ireland has officially confirmed the supply of modern Giraffe , which are used to identify air threats.

🔹 Demand of the Ukrainian territories
Ireland has joined the International Demining Coalition, which helps Ukraine eliminate the consequences of Russian aggression. This is especially important for the liberated areas where thousands of unbearable ammunition remain.

🔹 Humanitarian initiatives
discussed the Food from Ukraine , which is aimed at supplying Ukrainian grain to countries that suffer from the food crisis. Zelensky expressed his hope that Ireland would be more active in this humanitarian project.

Ireland, although not a member of NATO, continues to support Ukraine in both military and humanitarian directions. The transfer of Giraffe radars and participation in EU training missions will greatly increase Ukraine's defense capability.

Ireland remains an active political ally of Ukraine on European integration and pressure on Russia through sanctions.
