Zelensky replied to Trump and Putin's conversation

On June 4, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky commented on Donald Trump's public statement about his conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. In the appeal published on the Ukrainian leader's page on Facebook, Zelensky stressed that dialogue with the Kremlin does not stop the war unless it is accompanied by force and pressure.

"Many have spoken to Russia and at different levels. No conversations have led not only to a reliable peace, but even to a stop of war," Zelensky emphasized, adding that Moscow perceives weakness as green light for new crimes.

The President recalled that since the beginning of 2025, Russia has already caused almost 27,700 air strikes, used 11,200 Shahhed drones and more than 700 missiles, including ballistic. This, according to Zelensky, demonstrates that the aggressor does not restrain any formal negotiations or diplomatic signals.

"Every new blow to Russia shows the middle finger to the whole world. Everyone who does not want to increase pressure," he said.

Zelensky also warned that the passivity of strong states can have catastrophic consequences.

"If the strong do not stop Putin, they share responsibility with him. And if they want, but they cannot - Putin no longer consider them strong," the President said.
