Zelensky called on Europe to take decisive action

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, speaking at the fifth summit of the European political community in Budapest, stated the relevance of the concept of "peace through force" to achieve stability in Europe and containing Russia's aggression. Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine does not need support for Budapestw, but specific military assistance.

"We are not protected from Russian words but from Russian attacks. Therefore, we need enough weapons, not support in negotiations. Hugs with Putin will not help. Some of you have been hugging with him for 20 years, and everything is getting worse. He thinks only about wars and will not change.

Zelensky urged international leaders to intensify efforts to force Russia to a just peace. He proposed to take steps to use Russian assets in favor of Ukraine, as well as to limit Russia's income from oil selling and prevent detours in sanctions.

Zelensky emphasized that all countries that respect international law should be aware of the danger of indulgence of the aggressor: "The account for this war should be exposed to the Russians, not Ukraine. In order for Russia to no longer put forward its false claims to all around - from Baltic countries to Balkans." According to Zelensky, any "concession" of Putin is the way to weaken all of Europe.
