Zelensky approved the sanctions: Azarov, Tabachnyk and 37 other legal entities

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree introducing a decision of the National Security and Defense Council of November 18 on the application and amendments to personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions). As a result of this step, the sanction list included the expression-minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov, ex-Dmitry Tabachnyk and 37 legal entities.

According to Decree No. 758/2023 and No. 759/2023, adopted by Zelensky, sanctions include a complete or partial restriction of trade operations, transit of resources, as well as flights and transportation through the territory of Ukraine. Also provided for the blocking of assets, prohibition of participation in privatization, suspension of performance of economic and financial obligations and other restrictive measures.

Among the persons who have been extended are ex-Minister of Education Dmitry Tabachnyk, ex-People's Deputy Oleg Tsarev and Dmitry Svyatash, Head of the Occupation Administration of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov, LNR Chairman Leonid Pasichnyk, State Duma MP Dmitry Sablin and the former Ukrainian TV.

Also in the list of individuals and legal entities there is a non-profit organization of the Louis Quarter, founded by Maria Lviv-Belova, which was issued by the International Criminal Court for arrest. These measures are part of Ukraine's broad strategy to protect its interests and maintain security in geopolitical and economic challenges.
