Zelensky met with the President of Finland at the World Economic Forum

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with President of Finland Alexander Stubb in the fields of the World Economic Forum in Davos. The leaders of the two countries discussed important issues, such as strengthening Ukraine's defense capability, security guarantees and strengthening sanctions against Russia. In addition, the date for the next bilateral meetings was agreed.

Zelensky emphasized that the invitation for Ukraine to join NATO is a key security guarantee. The Finnish President confirmed the support of Ukraine, emphasizing that the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country are unconditional values ​​for his country. "We will continue the support of Ukraine. There are no questions about this. It's all about your independence, your sovereignty and your territorial integrity. We admire what you do," Stubb said.

Military assistance issues, including the preparation of 27 packages of assistance to Ukraine and discussing current military needs, were discussed separately. Leaders also paid attention to investments in the internal production of unmanned aerial vehicles, in particular according to the Danish model, as well as the development of defense and industrial cooperation between countries.
