The Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing to replenish the military with poor training

Ukraine enters the stage of mass mobilization to provide military forces in the fight against Russian occupation. However, against the background of this process, Ukrainian commanders express serious doubts about the quality of training of recruits who will join the army.

While Ukraine is preparing to mobilize tens of thousands of people to solve the problem of acute shortages of soldiers against the background of activating Russian attacks, Ukrainian commanders say that they are preparing for the fact that most new servicemen will come with poor training, writes The Washington.

Ukrainian commanders have long complained about the quality of training of recruits.

Officers say they often have to devote weeks to their basic skills, such as shooting.

"We had guys who did not even know how to disassemble and gather a gun," said 28-year-old deputy battalion commander of the 93rd Mechanized Brigade.

The Armed Forces Head of the Syrian redistributed people who used to served in positions such as the protection of bridges and other infrastructure away from the war zone, to the brigades involved in the most fierce battles.

In the intelligence unit of the 42nd Mechanized Brigade, which was recently transferred to the northeast of the Kharkiv region to protect against Russian offensive, many scouts have just been transferred from the rear functions and gave them only two weeks to prepare before being sent to the fight to perform difficult tasks that sometimes require penetration.

What is taught in Ukrainian training centers, "full of nonsense", said a 32-year-old soldier of the unit for Chirva's call sign.

"Everything is studying on the spot," he added.

Also, an officer who spent more than a year, instructing new soldiers at one of the Ukrainian facilities, said that the training centers were lacking in ammunition because they are directed for the needs of troops on the battlefield.
