Ukrainian defenders conquered half a kilometer of the territory in the Willow area of Zaporizhzhya region during the reflection of hostile attacks. This was reported by the mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov.
Fedorov's telegrams stressed that the defense forces in the Zaporozhye direction actively reflect the attacks of Russian invaders, and in the Verbov area it was possible to conquer an important result-a half-kilometer of the territory.
"Our warriors oppose the Russian army in difficult conditions. We remember this and help the Armed Forces as much as possible," Fedorov emphasized.
It should be noted that the Russian troops occupied territories along the shore of the Azov Sea during a full -scale invasion, including the city of Melitopol, Berdyansk and Tokmak. Recently, information has shown that Ukrainian troops are strengthening their positions and trying to break through the defensive lines of the invaders.
Verbovo became an arena of important fighting, and obtaining control over the half -kilometer of the territory testifies to the successful actions of the Ukrainian forces in this direction.
