The Armed Forces for the first time destroyed the Tos-2 "Tosochka"-a modernized flame -et system of the Russian Federation

The Ukrainian troops recorded an important victory: the Russian modernized flame-paraded system of the Tos-2 "Tosochka" was destroyed for the first time. It happened on February 14, 2025 in the Pokrovsky direction, which was reported by the researcher under Nick Alyha on the social network.

According to OSINT analysts, the Ukrainian military probably used FPV fiber optic fiber to defeat the flamethrower. Although the exact details of the destruction remain unknown, the fact of Russia's loss of the modernized system is an important indicator of the effectiveness of the Ukrainian forces. Tos-2 "Tosochka" is the result of the development of heavy flame -et systems, such as Tos-1 "Buratino" and Tos-1A "SolnPepke". These systems are actively used by Russian troops in Ukraine for the task of great destruction. The ToS-2 system was first demonstrated during the Caucasus 2020 exercises, and only in January 2024 did the first confirmation of its use in combat conditions in Luhansk region appeared. To date, the exact number of such systems in the Russian army is unknown. However, analysts from the Defense Express team suggest that they may be limited, given that only 55 units of the SOS-1 systems in the Armed Forces were recorded in 2024. The destruction of the Tos-2 system "Tosochka" is an important milestone in confrontation with Russian troops. This flamethrower system, capable of running powerful reactive shells, has become a symbol of aggression on Ukrainian lands. Successful lesions of these weapons indicate a high level of technical equipment and ingenuity of Ukrainian forces capable of effectively counteracting the latest Russian weapons.

This case confirms once again that Ukraine has a powerful arsenal of technologies and methods of combating Russian aggression, in particular, thanks to drones and accurate blows for important purposes. The destruction of Tos-2 "Tosochka" is an next step to strengthen the security of Ukraine at the front.
