The Kremlin has allowed a meeting between President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin. However, it can only take place after some agreements between the delegations of both countries.
This was stated by the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov. According to him, the meeting is possible only as a result of the work of the delegations, if specific results are achieved in the format of mutual arrangements.
Peskov stressed that negotiations between Russia and Ukraine should be in closed mode, and now the issue of changing the composition of the Russian delegation is not considered.
In addition, he noted that for Russia an important question is that who will sign the possible documents from Ukraine on the results of negotiations.
The Kremlin representative also stated that the parties exchanged lists of conditions for ceasefire. The Ukrainian side has not yet confirmed this information.
