In the first months of 2023, Russian invaders made 59,000 shelling of settlements in 24 regions of Ukraine, which led to 2000 dead and 11,000 victims. The Ministry of Internal Affairs Igor Klimenko reported this during a meeting with the ambassadors of the Great Seven.
The Minister informed the diplomats that law enforcement officers recorded more than 101 thousand cases of military crimes committed by the Russians in Ukraine. Among them are shelling, abuse of civilians, deportation and illegal imprisonment.
According to Klimenko, during the 11 months of 2023 Russian security forces 59,000 times fired at settlements in 24 regions of Ukraine, which led to the suffering of 11,000 citizens, of which 2000 were killed. Zaporizhzhya, Kherson, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Sumy and Chernihiv regions were most affected by shelling.
