At the G7 meeting, Andrii Sybiga called for increased support for Ukraine

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga called on foreign ministers of G7 to strengthen the support of Ukraine and more rigid confrontation between Russia-Iran-KNDR axis. Speaking at the G7 ministerial meeting in Rome, Sibiga emphasized the critical needs of Ukrainian defense and the importance of solidarity of allies to Russian aggression.

"Today, at the G7 ministerial meeting, I thanked the allies for their support and urged them to stand firmly in front of Russian aggression and blackmail. We need more air defense, ammunition and other equipment, strengthening sanctions against Russia and decisive steps to restrain the Russian-Iran-KNDR axis," Sibiga said.

This call came against the background of exacerbation of the international situation, in particular through the intensification of cooperation between Moscow, Tehran and Pyongyang. The Ukrainian Minister stressed that the effective restraint of this axis requires increased sanction pressure, increasing the supply of air defense systems, as well as other types of military assistance.

In addition to participating in the G7 meeting, Andrei Sibiga has held a number of important negotiations in the last two days within his visit to Italy. The main topics of the discussion were the support of Ukraine, strengthening security in the region and further coordination of actions with international partners.
