The Baykar Turkish company, known for its innovations in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles, presented a new tactical drone Kalkan Diha. This drone is capable of carrying out vertical take -off and planting, which makes it extremely versatile in combat. The novelty has already aroused great interest among military experts and potential buyers.

The Kalkan Diha drone is designed to use infantry units for intelligence, fire correction and long -term patrol. The developer states the possibility of finding the drone in the air for up to 6 hours, as well as exploration at a maximum height of 4.3 km.
Kalkan Diha is equipped with a combined power plant consisting of electric motors for vertical takeoff and landing, as well as the internal combustion engine.
When flight at the economic mode at cruising speed, it can develop speeds of up to 100 km/h, and the maximum is 130 km/h. Onboard equipment allows you to fly up to 100 km from the operator, with the Kalkan Diha in case of loss of communication, there is an extended set of functions, including:
- fully automatic flight system;
