People's Deputy Marian Bezugla from the faction of the "servant of the people" came under the strike of criticism for a provocative poll, which quickly became the object of Russian propaganda. The survey published in her Facebook account concerned the possibility of abandoning Ukrainian citizenship to avoid mobilization.
Bezlagus suggested that Ukrainians answer the question of whether they are ready to give up citizenship if it would avoid mobilization. The results of the survey were used by Russian propaganda media as a tool for submitting an idea that Ukrainians do not support their army.
Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Anatoly Stefan stated that such actions are discrediting the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He stressed that such behavior of the People's Deputy contributes to Russian propaganda and violates the interests of national security.
This incident was a reason for politicians' responsibility for their actions in the information space and the use of their public applications for propaganda purposes.
