Most Poles believe that relations between Poland and Ukraine have deteriorated

In 2023-2024, the relations between Poland and Ukraine noted considerable tension. This was a surprise for many, because Poland one of the first countries supported Ukraine after the start of a full -scale invasion of Russia in 2022.

Warsaw provided political, economic and military support to Ukraine, which made it one of Kyiv's key allies in the international arena. However, recently in Polish-Ukrainian relations has been felt cold. 

This is evidenced by the data of the United Surveys for Wirtualna Polska.

According to the survey, 43.6% of Poles believe that relationships between countries "rather deteriorated" and 17.7% of respondents said that they "unambiguously deteriorated".

The answer "rather improved" chose 7.8% of respondents and only 0.1% believe that Polish-Ukrainian relations "unambiguously improved". Also, 21.9% of respondents believe that bilateral relations have not changed.
