US Vice President Jay Di Vation has commented on the possibility of pressure on Russia by Donald Trump's administration for coercion of the Kremlin to negotiate a war against Ukraine. In an interview with America's voice , he stressed that the White House seeks to end the conflict using pressure on all parties.
“We believe that it is in the best interests of Russia, but also in the interests of Ukraine and the United States to complete this conflict. That is why we believe in applying pressure on everyone to stop the murder because it is a presidential policy, and it is in the interests of the American people, ”Vance said.
The remark that the current US policy looks like pressure on Ukraine without proper pressure on Russia, the Vice President replied: "In fact, I do not think it is true." According to him, sanctions against Moscow continue to operate, and Russia is already experiencing economic difficulties due to conflict.
