A book by Trump-related experts lays out the possible foundations of the Republican's policies

A group of experts associated with former US President Donald Trump has released a book that examines possible policy directions if he returns to power after the next election. This was reported by the Associated Press agency, which received access to the manuscript of the book before its official presentation. The work is published by the America First Policy Institute.

The book states that the United States should make future military aid dependent on Ukraine's participation in peace negotiations with Russia (previously this idea was attributed to Trump by the American media, but the ex-president himself did not confirm it).

Experts predict that the Ukrainian army will most likely eventually lose ground, and advise the US "not to send weapons into a stalemate in which Ukraine will ultimately have a hard time winning." But as soon as a peace agreement is concluded, it may contain a clause that the USA will continue arming Ukraine as a deterrent for Russia.

The authors also approve of the concept in which Ukraine "will not be asked to abandon the goal of returning all its territory", but Kyiv will agree to pursue this through diplomatic means. However, it is indicated that a "diplomatic breakthrough" in this direction is unlikely to be achieved as long as Putin is in power.

The document also acknowledges that Ukrainians "will find it difficult to accept a negotiated peace that does not return all of their territory or, at least for the moment, does not hold Russia accountable for the carnage it has wrought in Ukraine."

But then Trump's opinion is given: "I want everyone to stop dying." The authors of the book call this concept a "good first step."

At the same time, AP points out that Donald Trump himself did not officially confirm his agreement with the theses of the program.
