Boris Johnson made a loud statement about the Russian invasion

Former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson suggested that Russia's invasion of Ukraine could not happen if Donald Trump remained president. In an interview with The Telegraph, Johnson said that the world is getting better in the presence of a strong American leader, and Trump could be a factor that would restrain Russian ruler Vladimir Putin from the risk of hostilities against a sovereign country.

According to Johnson, the Kremlin was really afraid that Trump would consider an attack on a European country with an image for America and world order. "Relations between states change when leaders become more unpredictable," he emphasized.

Johnson also gave examples of Trump's rigid position on Russia, including the expulsion of 60 Russian spies, active action in Syria and support Ukraine, giving it a Javelin missile. He noted that Ukraine should not be afraid of the possible return of Trump to the presidency, as its struggle for freedom and democracy is critical for stability in Europe.

"If Ukraine falls, it will be an absolute catastrophe," Johnson emphasized, expressing confidence that Trump understands this threat. "He will not want to enter history as the one who started the second term not by the fact that America has made great, but by the fact that the Soviet Union made great again."

At the same time, Johnson shared his memories of his attempts to refuse Putin from the invasion, noting that the Russian leader feared that NATO could hit Moscow. Johnson claims that no one planned to supply Nativ rockets to Kiev, but Putin did not believe this assurance and believed that a rocket from Ukraine could hit the Russian capital.
