Brazil sets a new temperature record in its history

In Brazil, the highest temperature in the history of the country was recorded, which was +44.8 °С. This record was set in the village of Arasuai in the southeast of the country. The previous maximum was recorded in 2005 and was +44.7 °С.

Scientists explain this phenomenon with the El Nino weather phenomenon, during which an increase in temperature is usually observed.
