Czech volunteers handed over 12,000 FPV drones to Ukraine

Czech volunteers from the Drony Nemesis , organized by Group D , made a significant contribution to the support of the Ukrainian army. In less than a year, they managed to collect more than 203.7 million kroner (over 8 million euros) for the purchase of 20 thousand FPV drones .

Thanks to these funds, 15,000 drones have already been purchased, of which 12,000 have been handed over to the Ukrainian military , and another 3,000 are planned to be delivered by Christmas. The fundraising campaign was launched just two days before Christmas 2022.

At a press conference in Prague, one of the founders of the project, the popular Czech actor Ondřej Vethy , said:
"The solidarity of the Czechs is pleasing." He recalled that the initial goal of the initiative was to collect 100 million crowns , but the result exceeded all expectations.

This week, activists also announced the launch of a new project - "Operation Just Retribution" , aimed at collecting funds for the purchase of 100 tons of plastic explosives , as well as engineering and pyrotechnic materials for the Armed Forces. So far, it has been possible to collect 84,000 kroner , which is enough for the purchase of approximately 42 kg of explosives . It, like the drones, will be handed over to Ukrainian defenders through the Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic.

This initiative became another evidence of the strong support of Ukraine by the international community and the importance of volunteer efforts to ensure the protection of Ukrainian territories.
