Why will China continue to support Putin?

Even when pressed from Washington, Xi Jinping was unable to change her position on Russia's support. Russian invaders are worried about the constant flights of drones, which led to powerful explosions in the occupied Crimea, including an attack on the airfield in Belbek. Meanwhile, the Russian leader Putin made a visit to China when successful drones attack on objects in Russia coincided with his arrival. These attacks could seriously harm the negotiations between the two countries, experts say.

In addition to military facilities, drones attacked power plants, leading to shutdown of electricity in Sevastopol and other cities of Crimea, which occurred after emergency shutdown throughout Ukraine. Putin's meeting with Jinping in Beijing received a lot of attention, in particular through the distribution of participants by rank signs. However, even this did not change the fact that both leaders remain non -dependent.

The main issue of discussion was how to circumvent sanctions, analysts believe. It is believed that both leaders discussed economic issues because China remains a key partner for Russia. However, Russia's achievement for its own strategic purposes, such as Siberia-2 gas pipeline, remains uncertain.

Putin also expressed pleasure in the "peaceful plan" of China, which can give him an alternative in the international arena. In their press releases, both leaders focused on maintaining their common position on the crisis in Ukraine and preventing the supply of weapons to this country. Currently, despite the pressure from the event, Xi Jinping remains true to her promises to support Russia, recognizing that the front remains stable.
