Prices for autogas, which have increased to 35-37 UAH per liter recently will continue to increase next year. Experts predict that at the beginning of 2025 the cost of liquefied gas can reach 40 UAH per liter. This cost jump is associated with an increase in excise duty on a road, which was introduced in September this year.
Currently, there is already a significant increase in prices on the market, and at some gas stations the cost of a motorway already exceeds 37 UAH per liter. However, the rise in gas prices does not stop: in January 2025 the excise duty on the road will increase again, which will inevitably lead to a new wave of rise in price.
Experts believe that these changes can significantly affect the habits of Ukrainian drivers. Previously, the car was a profitable alternative to gasoline and diesel, then with new prices, its economic benefit will be significantly reduced. Already, the rise in prices has led to a fall in demand for this type of fuel among motorists, and in 2025, with a new rise in price, even more people can think about moving to gasoline or diesel.
Considering the future rise in price, experts warn that in early 2025, car owners with gas -cylinder equipment will have to look for new ways of savings, since high prices for autogas can become a "critical point" for many drivers.
Thus, the expected increase in excise duties and the further rise in prices for auto -ages are asked to be asked as a cheap alternative to traditional fuel.
