By 2030, every fourth company will cut jobs thanks to AI

By 2030, 41% of companies around the world plan to reduce their employees by replacing them with automation of processes through artificial intelligence (AI). This is the result of a new study published by CNN, as well as the survey of the World Economic Forum (WEF). However, despite the growing popularity of technology, for many workers, it also means the need to adapt and retraine.

The reduction will affect many areas, including postal services, secretaries, salaries, as well as graphic designers and lawyers. This is due not only to the development of AI, but also to the general trends in automation in the labor market. Despite the fact that some professions may disappear, the demand for AI professionals is growing rapidly. According to WEF, 70% of companies are already looking for AI developers, and 62% of companies need specialists who can work with these technologies. The demand for these professions is expected to increase, and AIs will become an integral part of many industries.

At the same time, many companies say they plan to invest in retraining their employees. According to the survey, 77% of companies intend to re -qualify their employees to work effectively with new technologies, including AI. This can allow employees to save jobs in rapid automation.

At the same time, experts emphasize that the impact of AI on the labor market will not be as unambiguous as it seems. They point out that the main result of the implementation of AI will not be a complete replacement of human workers, but improvement and optimization of their skills. This will allow a person to focus on creative and complex aspects of work, while routine tasks are automated.
