Dr. told about the death of Pope

Pope Francis died quickly and without pain, said the doctor who was near the Pontiff in the last minutes of his life. According to the doctor of Roman Hospital Dzhemelli Sergio Alfierry, Pope died in a coma, and did not even feel severe pain.

The doctor watched the state of the Pope for the last five weeks, starting from the time Francis has been fighting with double pneumonia at the beginning of the year. In talking with La Repubblica journalists, Alfierry shared the details of the last minutes of Pontiff's life.

On April 21, the doctor received an urgent call from the Vatican with a request to come to the Pope. He reached the Vatican in 20 minutes and saw the pontiff in a room with his eyes open. The doctor checked his breathing and realized that at that time the Pope did not respond to no external stimuli.

"I tried to call him by name, but he didn't answer me," Alfieri said. The doctor realized that the pope was in a coma and nothing could be done.

Alfierry specified that the transportation of the pope would be in vain. He explained that it was a stroke that picks up a person for an hour.

"It was one of those strokes who take you with you in an hour," the doctor summed up.

The death of the Pope Francis has become a great loss for the Catholic Church and the whole world, because the pontiff was one of the most influential religious leaders of today.
