On the night of Friday, May 23, the western regions of Ukraine were attacked by Russia with the use of shock drones-Kamikadze type "Shahd". The explosions were heard in Chernivtsi and Ivano-Frankivsk regions, local media and eyewitnesses reported on social networks.
The first explosions in the Chernivtsi region were recorded around 4:26 in the morning. After 13 minutes, they reported repeated explosions. Air alarm in the region was announced earlier - at 4:14 - after reporting the threat of enemy UAVs.
At about 4:50, the explosions were received from Ivano-Frankivsk. As of 5:17, the Kyiv Regional Military Administration announced the work of air defense in the region, which indicates a wider scale of the attack.
