On January 8, the Office of the Prosecutor General announced the referral of an indictment to the People's Deputy Alexander Dubinsky and his former assistant. They are accused of illegally crossing persons across the state border (Part 2 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, in August 2022, Dubinsky, together with his assistant, organized his civilian wife's brother abroad. The man left Ukraine through one of the checkpoints to Moldova, using the documents entered in the Way system. These documents were obtained with the assistance of the Vyshgorod district military administration and affiliated with the People's Deputy of the NGO.
Despite the stated purpose of the departure - the transportation of humanitarian goods for the Armed Forces, the man got a job on a foreign sea ship. Returning to Ukraine at the end of 2022 after the contract was completed, he went abroad again in 2023. This time the departure was designed according to a similar scheme-under the guise of a volunteer-driver. According to the case file, the man had to deliver a private car from the People's Deputy from Chisinau to Vienna. After this instruction, he no longer returned to Ukraine.
We will remind, this is not the first matter against Alexander Dubinsky. In 2023 he was suspected of treason and participation in a criminal organization. Earlier, he appeared in investigations into official forgery for illegal traveling abroad. In September 2024, the DBR completed the investigation of Dubinsky's case against the State Council.
Oleksandr Dubinsky remains the focus of law enforcement through a number of corruption and criminal charges.
