Last weekend, Estonia's state websites have become the largest wave of DDOS attacks in the country's history.
This information was confirmed by the Estonian State Information Infos system.
It is noted that due to the measures taken, their influence was not significant. The State Infosystem Department added that during Saturday and Sunday, attacks were directed against twenty public sector websites.
Among the main goals of attacks were the police and border guards, the tax department and the Ministry of Justice, whose pages were most actively attacked on Saturday afternoon.
It is reported that Estonia has introduced technical countermeasures in recent years that cover most important public sector sites and services.
It is also worth noting that recently Russian hackers tried to attack Microsoft services, and in early February, the Ukrainian state -owned enterprise was injured from a cyberattack, which was affected by more than 2000 computers.
