France does not exclude troops deployment in Ukraine for stabilization - Macron's statement

French President Emmanuel Macron said it does not exclude the possibility of placing foreign troops in the territory of Ukraine after the active phase of hostilities with Russia. He reported this in an interview with the French edition of Le Parisien .

Macron stressed that such an initiative may aim to stabilize the situation in Ukraine after the termination of hostilities . It is not a direct involvement in hostilities , but about creating conditions for a peaceful transition , guaranteeing security and demonstrating support from Allies . Macron also stressed that the largest army in now collected in Ukraine - about one million fighters , and no other country on the continent has such a mobilization resource. In addition, French President has confirmed that consultations with European partners continue to participate in such a peacekeeping or stabilization mission.
