France has announced that Ukraine considers the right to self-defense, according to the UN Charter, and therefore may strike respectively in the territory of the aggressor country, Russia, including the fire of Belgorod. This statement of Paris was the cause of an acute reaction and even hysteria in the Kremlin.
According to RBC-Ukraine, the press service of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev reported this position of France. The Ukrainian right to self -defense is recognized as legal, and accordingly, the country has the right to use all available means to protect its own citizens and territory in the event of an attack.
The Kremlin's reaction to this statement by France was extremely hysterical and critical. Russian officials expressed dissatisfaction and condemnation in connection with the position of Paris, considering him groundless and hostile.
