Over the past day, 138 fighting clashes between the units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine and the Russian troops took place at the front, including the hottest battles in the Pokrovsky and Kurakhiv directions. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces, noting that aviation, missile troops and artillery of defense forces struck five areas of concentration of Russian troops, as well as two points of management and three important facilities.
Instead, Russian troops made two rocket strikes and 52 aviation attacks using two missiles and dropping 102 cassette airbags (CA). The enemy also carried out more than 3800 shelling, of which 159 were made of rocket launchers.
The General Staff also reported several important episodes in different areas of the front:
- Kharkiv direction : the Russians twice tried to storm the positions of Ukrainian troops near Vovchansk, but were repelled.
- Kupyansky direction : four enemy attacks in the areas of the Western, two -year -old and Kruglyakivka were successfully reflected.
- Liman direction : The Russians made 16 attacks in the areas of Nadiya, Makeevka, Ternov, Grigorivka and Serebryansky Forest.
- Siverskyi direction : Ukrainian forces reflected one storm near Bigorivka.
- Toretsky direction : six enemy attacks on Toretsk, New York and Shcherbinovka were reflected.
- Pokrovsky and Kurakhiv directions : 38 offensive actions were stopped on Pokrovsky, and 27 on Kurakhivsky.
Other directions were also fired and attacks, in particular in the Uremiv, Orikhiv and Dnieper directions. In the Volyn and Polissya directions of preparation of the offensive groups of the enemy was not recorded.
