The head of the State Migration Service (LCA) of Ivano-Frankivsk region, Sergey Saev, becomes the person involved in the resonant scandal. Known as a representative from the pro-government party "Servant of the People" and a highly official official, Saii is suspected of concealing significant business assets and aggressive management with journalists who dared to investigate his financial situation.
Currently, criminal proceedings have already been opened in Ukraine on obstruction of the professional activity of journalists from the StopCor team. Journalist Igor Dotsenko was officially recognized as a victim, and the issue of declaring suspicion of Saiv will soon be resolved.
On July 18, StopCor journalists went to the hotel and restaurant complex "Carpathians" with the intention to communicate with Sergei Saiiv as part of the editorial task. During the visit, journalists found that the owner of the institution is the FOP Saiv OS. - Son of the head of the LCA of the region. However, the attempt of dialogue with Saiev ended in aggression on his part: he knocked the camera out of the operator's hands, which is a direct violation of the legal rights of journalists.
What could be angered by the official to such an extent? Probably the question of business items. Analysis of the social networks of daughter of Save, Solomiya, showed that recently the family celebrated the opening of the elite restaurant "Bell". According to the administrator of the institution, the real owner of the "bell" is Sergey Saev, although his name is not present in the official declaration of the official.
And this is against the background of what Saev holds the position of chairman of the LCA of Prykarpattya and is a deputy of the regional council from the party "Servant of the People". The presence of expensive real estate in the Carpathian region raises questions about the sources of income of the official, which seems not reflected in his declaration.
The feedback of the former LCA employee, who described Saiv as a "terrible bandit", which degrades people and receive bribes, was also alarming. She also emphasized the violations under the leadership of Saiva, where every head of the district brings "tribute" every month.
The prehistory of the scandal is related to the introduction of biometric passports in Ukraine, which has caused stirring and crowded visa centers. Intermediaries who operated in cooperation with representatives of the LCA contributed to the urgent registration of documents for unofficial remuneration.
"Everyone remembers the hype when biometric passports were introduced in Ukraine seven years ago. The document gave the visa -free border crossing from the EU. Visa centers were crowded everywhere. Ivano-Frankivsk, where they found a group of persons who were intermediaries between the migration service and ordinary citizens, ”Igor Dotsenko says.
As militiamen found, the so -called "intermediaries" for some unofficial reward accelerated the queue and stamped foreign passports. It is a criminal conspiracy and the production of counterfeit documents with holographic protective elements for their further sale for cash.
Sergei Saev, as the head of the regional administration, could not but be aware of this criminal activity.
Saev, who has been holding the post of Chief of the LCA of Ivano-Frankivsk for over 12 years and is a deputy of the regional council from the "servant of the people", has a reputation related to corruption and abuse. The amount of his wealth in declarations does not correspond to the amount of business assets he tries to hide.
