Ukraine launches the Instrumental grant program aimed at supporting musicians in restoring or purchasing instruments damaged during the war. This was announced by the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine on its official Facebook account.
The educational and concert platform Kyiv Contemporary Music Days (KCMD) is accepting applications for participation in the program, addressing Ukrainian specialists in the field of academic music, including performers, composers, musicologists and teachers.
Grants may be used to purchase new or used instruments and related equipment, as well as to repair, restore, maintain and improve existing instruments, it said. The program provides the possibility of reimbursement of both the full cost of the instrument and partial cost, provided that the applicant has his own funds to cover the remaining costs.
The application deadline is January 15, 2024.
