Greece plans to develop a air defense system similar to the Israeli Iron Dome to protect the country from air threats. This was stated by the Minister of Defense Nicos Dendias.
According to Dandyaias, the Israeli air defense system shows high efficiency in the interception of air goals, including drones and cruise missiles.
He added that the decision to develop such a system in Greece was made after Iran's missile strike in Israel, where systems of this type successfully ensured high precision protection.
"In the light of the conflict in Ukraine, we came to the conclusion that it is necessary to build an anti -aircraft and anti -diseased shield," Dandias emphasized.
Iron Dome - Israeli Development created by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd. This anti -air system is intended for interception and destruction of air goals.
