As we reported earlier, the head of the restoration service of Chernihiv region Roman Smanenko "brought" a bribe of $ 150,000 so that they do not interfere with stealing. At the same time, according to our sources, "bribe did not help, and Roman Smanenko will receive suspicion in the near future."
We would like to remind you that the head of the Infrastructure Recovery and Development Service of the Chernihiv region - Roman Igorovych Smiyanenko fell into the field of view of law enforcement agencies after the inspection of the State Judicial Service of Chernihiv and, as a consequence, the detection of large -scale thefts in his department.
In our journalistic investigation: " Recovery on rollbacks: who is profitable in the restored Chernihiv region " we published data taken from the conclusion of the State Judicial Service, regarding the facts of waste of funds and the construction of a system of rollbacks by Roman Smanenko. According to the results of the revealed offenses, Roman Smanenko became the person involved in the criminal case N12023000000002079 of 08.11.2023 under Part 3 of Art. 191 of the Criminal Code (appropriation, misappropriation of property or seizure by abuse of office).
Also, according to our sources, Roman Smanenko, using corruption, made an attempt to resolve the issue of his integrity with the management of the Department of Protection of National Statehood and the Main Directorate of 1 SB of Ukraine in the amount of $ 150,000.
But it has not passed: the SBU Crimea is currently conducting active investigative operations, so corruption on the restoration of Chernihiv will not remain unpunished.
