For two years, Iran and Russia actively cooperating in the military sphere, which has become noticeable after the supply of Iran thousands of drones and artillery shells to Russia. However, one of the most serious stages of this cooperation was the transfer of tactical ballistic missile systems, including FATH -360. The latter intelligence confirms that Russia has received more than 400 such missiles from Iran, which significantly increases the efficiency of Russian army attacks in advanced positions in Ukraine.
FATH- 360 is small- range tactical ballistic missile developed by Iran. It was represented in 2022 and is an advanced version of previous systems, such as Fateh -110. This rocket is characterized by less weight, higher speed and high accuracy, which allows it effectively strike tactical goals in the battlefields , such as artillery positions, command points and logistics . The maximum rocket range is 120 km, and its warhead weighs up to 150 kg. The main advantage of FATH- 360 is its mobility. Thanks to the modular launch system the rocket can be deployed on wheel platforms or specially adapted trucks. This makes the system very mobile, able to quickly change the position and avoid detecting the enemy. It also uses satellite navigation ( GNSS), which allows to provide high accuracy in the middle of the course.
If these missiles are integrated into Russian troops arsenal they can significantly strengthen Russia's ability to strike accurate strokes in Ukrainian advanced positions. Their high accuracy will effectively destroy the fortifications and infrastructure near line , as well as saturate the defense of the enemy during offensive operations . FATH - 360 mobility is one of its greatest advantages, as the rocket can be rapidly deployed and its starting installations can be easily hidden from satellite surveillance and air intelligence, which makes it difficult to detect in intensive fighting .
