Israel is preparing to evacuate the civilian population of Rafah to "humanitarian" zones, the IDF reports

Israel plans to evacuate the Rafah's civilian residents to the Humanitarian Zones in the central part of the Gaza sector in front of the planned ground attack on the city, said the spokesman of the Israeli Defense Army, Daniel Hagari.

According to Khagari, the humanitarian zones will be created in conjunction with the "international community" for the placement of displaced persons and providing them with food, water and other use.

Israel also considers the possibility of "flooding" gases with the help, added Khagari. US representatives who spoke under anonymity stated that there were no sufficient signs that Israel was seriously planning an invasion of Rafa in the near future.

One of the officials noted that Israeli leaders partially use the threat of invasion of Hamas pressure in order to reach a six -week ceasefire agreement, which provides for the release of residual Israeli hostages. Biden administration officials claim that not only Netanyhah wants to invade the city in the south of Gaza, but also the Israeli government widely supported military operations in Rafah.

The US continues to provide humanitarian aid to gas through air and sea corridors.
