At a meeting on February 18, the Government of Ukraine approved a plan of priority actions for 2025. Prime Minister Denis Shmigal has informed about it.
According to him, the document contains the obligations of Ukraine to international partners, in particular under the Ukraine Facility program, as part of the IMF cooperation, as well as within the European integration course of the country.
"The responsible persons are identified, clear terms of execution have been set and clear indicators that we will evaluate the results," Shmigal stressed.
Government representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk reported that the priority action plan includes:
- tasks aimed at overcoming the consequences of war and restoration of the country in military and post -war periods;
- measures to fulfill international legal obligations, in particular in the field of European integration, in accordance with the report on Ukraine's progress under the EU Extension Package in 2024;
- steps within the Ukrainian Facility Program and cooperation with the International Monetary Fund;
- implementation of the plan of the bill of law of the Verkhovna Rada for 2025;
- measures to bring Ukraine closer to membership in the organization of economic cooperation and development (OECD);
- Initiatives aimed at achieving sustainable development goals.
The Government emphasizes that this plan is a strategic document for further reforming the country and its integration into the European community.
