Cabinet replacement is delayed? Zelensky has a different plan

Despite active discussions in political circles and media, the large -scale replacement of the Government of Ukraine is unlikely to take place in the near future. This was stated by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, explaining why probable personnel permutations in the Cabinet of Ministers can be postponed by at least August.

According to the People's Deputy, the next working week - from July 14 to July 18 - individual personnel rotations are really possible, but the complete change of the government seems unlikely.

The deputy cited a number of logistics and political reasons why the government would not change in the next week: the busy agenda - in the schedule of the Council, the issue of martial law, budget, defense initiatives, international agreements, etc. The lack of communications with potential candidates for replacement: with those who are "married" - no one has said yet. Problems with vote mobilization - there is no provision of deputies, and it is difficult to do so at the last moment. Legislative changes are needed, but it also does not have enough time. According to Zheleznyak, August looks the most realistic term for changing the Prime Minister or the entire Cabinet. It is then that he said, it is possible to expect a "window of opportunity" for voting, communication with potential candidates and preparation of the necessary decisions. However, the People's Deputy does not exclude that the changes may happen before - in the event of an extraordinary parliamentary meeting at the end of July.

However, there are obstacles here - many international delegations have already planned visits to Kiev during this period, so it will be difficult to mobilize votes. Public impetus for rumors about rotation in the government gave a statement to President Vladimir Zelensky about the replacement of the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States. Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga confirmed that Ukraine is planned not only in Washington, but also in G7 and G20 countries. The process of changing ambassadors is long, because it requires approval at the level of both states. According to Zheleznyak, it takes at least a month to change the ambassador, so it is unlikely to happen instantly.

Recall that in recent weeks in the Ukrainian politicum are actively discussing the probable resignation of Prime Minister Denis Shmigal, as well as potential changes in the Ministry of Defense. However, no official confirmation of the resignation of the government has not yet received.
