Canada allocates $300 million to support Ukraine

From the specified amount, 200 million Canadian dollars will be directed to the Czech initiative for the purchase and supply of large-caliber ammunition for the Ukrainian military. This will allow Ukraine to obtain the necessary ammunition for effective combat at the front.

An additional 50 million Canadian dollars will be used to purchase ammunition of various calibers produced by Canadian industry. This will strengthen the arsenal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, providing them with the necessary weapons to resist aggression.

100 million Canadian dollars will be directed to support the production of military drones by the Ukrainian defense industry on the Danish model. This will allow Ukraine to expand its capabilities in the field of unmanned systems, which is critically important for modern warfare.

Canada has also earmarked 30 million Canadian dollars for winter equipment, including sleeping bags, winter boots and thermal clothing, which have already been delivered to Ukraine. The conditions on the front line become much more difficult during the winter period, and such assistance is important for the preservation of the health and fighting capacity of the Ukrainian military.

Another 64 million Canadian dollars were used to purchase high-quality drone cameras, which have already arrived in Ukraine. This equipment should help in reconnaissance and monitoring of the situation on the front lines.
