The US Presidential Representative for Ukraine and Russia Kit Kellogo will arrive in Kiev on February 20. His visit will be held after the Munich Security Conference. About it reports RBC-Ukraine with reference to sources in the office of the President.
According to the publication, it was the US side who suggested that the meeting appoint on this date.
Earlier, Kellogo planned to visit Ukraine in January, to the inauguration of Donald Trump. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine confirmed that the visit had been agreed, but later postponed. As the Foreign Ministry spokesman George Tykhy explained, this happened for legal reasons.
It is expected that during his stay in Kiev, Kellogo will hold a number of meetings with representatives of the Ukrainian authorities, in particular on further cooperation between Ukraine and the US.
