The Minister stressed that, despite the sharp statements, China remains calm and believes that the correctness of the actions is determined by compliance with international standards and obligations, including those contained in three common Chinese-American communica, international law and basic rules of international relations.
Van's visit to the US, where he meets Anthony Blinken and Jake Sullivan, can prepare the ground for meeting the leaders of the two countries next month. The parties hope to stabilize relationships and return them to the path of healthy and sustainable development.
