The Committee of the Verkhovna Rada recognizes corruption risks in the draft law on mobilization

The Cabinet of Ministers has submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a bill aimed at improving mobilization and military accounting in Ukraine. However, an important step in strengthening the country's defense capability has become the object of consideration of the Verkhovna Rada Anti -Corruption Committee.

On the report of the Committee, the People's Deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko noted that the bill on mobilization represented by the government contains corruption risks. This claim causes serious indignation and emphasizes the need for careful analysis and improvement of the legislative act before its adoption.

Another important aspect, which is covered in the media, was the dissemination of information that the President's office is considered to be a proposal to book men who receive high salaries from the army, noting that such persons pay more taxes. The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk decided to refute this information, claiming that such a provision does not exist in the new mobilization bill.

Controversial points in the bill revealed by the Anti -Corruption Committee may affect the path of its further consideration and adoption. Ensuring transparency and exclusion of corruption elements in strategic issues such as mobilization is important to ensure the effective functioning of the national defense and public trust system.
