Recently, the Russian media reported the arrest of Andrei Belkov, the head of the Russian Defense Ministry of Defense, on charges of corruption related to procurement. This company, established in 2019, originally received praise from former Defense Minister Sergei Shoig for the effectiveness of internal and external audit. However, it turned out that it was used to enrich corrupt Russian officials.

In April this year, Deputy Minister of Defense Timur Ivanov was arrested on charges of receiving a bribe in a particularly large amount. The Moscow Basmanny sent Ivanov to the pre -trial detention center by June 23, and arrested the second person involved in the case of Sergei Borodin.
