Kryvyi Rih announces a three -day complaint for the victims of the Russian attack

The city of Kryvyi Rih declared a three -day mourning from April 7 to April 9 due to the tragic consequences of rocket attack, which occurred on April 4, 2025. As a result of the attack of Russian troops, 16 people were killed, including six children. Such information was confirmed by the chairman of the city defense council Alexander Vilkul in his address to the public.

On April 4, Russian troops struck the residential district of Kryvyi Rih. Civilian buildings, playgrounds and infrastructure were injured as a result of rocket attacks and attacks by drones (which were named "Shahaned"), which caused numerous human casualties and destruction. One of the missiles hit the center of the residential area, where residents were at that time, including children. More than a dozen people were injured, the number of victims has increased rapidly to 16 people, including six children.

This became another act of violence by the aggressor, which directs its attacks on the civilian population, violating all international rules and rules of war. Oleksandr Vilkul, commenting on the tragedy, stressed that such blows to civilian objects are not just a crime, but a mass murder of defenseless people.

Oleksandr Vilkul informed that three days of mourning will be announced in Kryvyi Rih in Kryvyi Rih, which will last from April 7 to April 9, 2025. During this time, various events will take place in the city, including memorial ceremonies and minutes of silence in schools and enterprises.

"This is our common tragedy, it is the pain of all of us. Kryvyi Rih will remember everyone who died and support their families," Vilkul said in his address. The head of the city's defense council emphasized the importance of unity and cohesion during this tragedy, because everyone became part of the pain of the whole country.

Vilkul also called for the continuation of the struggle for restoration of justice, expressing gratitude to anyone who is now fighting for the country and defending the civilian population from aggression. He stressed that the attack on Kryvyi Rih is only one of the numerous episodes of a large -scale invasion, and the city will continue its struggle for freedom and independence.

This tragedy has become another confirmation of how the Russian army, contrary to international laws, continues to strike peaceful populations. Attacks on residential quarters, playgrounds and other civilian sites have become a common practice, which causes indignation not only among Ukrainians but also in the international community.

The incident in Kryvyi Rih was documented and relevant materials were transferred to international organizations, in particular in the UN and the International Criminal Court. Ukraine declares its intention to hold persons who commit military crimes, in particular those who attack civilian objects.

In these difficult days, psychological assistance and social support are an important component of victims and their families. The city organizes special consultations for the families of the victims, assistance in organizing burials and raising funds to help the victims.

"We need to support our people, because they are not only lost by loved ones, but also of incredible stress that their relatives have been victims of cruel attacks," Alexander Vilkul said.

Despite numerous victims and destruction, the city continues to remain an important strategic center in eastern Ukraine. The Kryvyi Rih is not only an industrial giant, but also an important chain of defense that can withstand the enemy.
